Calypso sighed as she took the box of granola bars from her husband and went to open one when she heard him saying they should get moving again. She stood to her feet, placing the granola bars back into the duffel bag her husband carried as she took a bite from the one she had unwrapped. The pain in her body once again catching up to her. She has never had to be this active in her life, it was definitely taking a toll on her. Everything hurt, but she knew there was no use in complaining about it. Calypso had to suck it up and take it like a big girl. Besides, she didn't need Hunter worrying about her any more than he already was. She slid her left hand into her husband's, holding onto it with tender love and care. This was her way of feeling safe as they made their travel through the many yards from home to the cabin. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago that she had her worst fear realized.
Though just as she thought nothing could get any worse, it started to rain. It wasn't a big deal until the wind picked up, blowing her hair all over the place, making it hard for her to see and the thunder and lightening started. Every time she heard the thunder crack or the lightening strike, she would jump a bit. Ever since she was a kid she was never really a big fan of storms and it made it worse that she was out in the middle of one. If she wasn't careful she would probably be struck by lightening.
"How much longer to the cabin?" she questioned as she stepped over a huge log that looked as if it had been there for a couple years without being bothered.
