"Well at least one of us has a good sense of direction," Kou joked. Truthfully she had an instinctual sense of direction that allowed her to memorize maps and follow patterns rather well. Unfortunately that seemed to be the only real world skill Kou had... Unless you counted fighting. She couldn't read, write, she wasn't a very good cook and had no artistic abilities of any kind. Tsukuyomi had always joked that Kou would be a terrible wife, so she should only marry him so he could take care of her. Of course Kou would always yell at him afterwards to shut up.
The girl snapped back to reality when she nearly tripped in a pot hole and almost broke her heel. Kou cursed and looked up, noticing that she had fallen a bit far behind the others. Instantly the rabbit picked up pace, catching up easily to her mage. "Sorry," Kou apologized. "I got lost in thought," Kou scratched the side of her nose and entered the textile shop, copying Etelka and bowing respectfully to the owner. When Kou looked up, colorful pieces of fabric caught her eyes. She had no idea what she was looking at, but the walls were adorned in all sorts of pretty things. "These are nice," Kou mumbled and ran her fingers over a swath of red fabric. "Say Momoko, do you know what to do with these?" Kou had probably asked her before, but the rabbit had since forgotten the answer.
She turned to Etelka then and seeing the girl was busy Kou wondered if it would be alright to interrupt. "Etelka," Kou decided to say anyways, striding up to the girl. "I know you're probably busy tending to your mage and all but would you mind teaching me just the basics of sewing?" From there Kou would hopefully be able to figure it out. Of course she wouldn't be able to make anything fancy for a while, but just getting started would be enough. Then she would be able to mend her own clothes and work her way up to other projects. "If you'd like I could teach you something in exchange?" She knew that everything in life had a price, you never got anything for free. Of course Kou wasn't sure what skills she could teach the demon who seemed to be all knowing. She had offered to teach Etelka to fight before but the demon had shot that idea down rather quickly.
