A branch snapped as the two sat there. Xandre turned his head to see a familiar face.

"I leave you for one moment and you get cut up like this?" Niall said with a soft smile.

Xandre looked at him before turning to Reyna, "I'll be fine, we have to get to Ember."

"Ember, you mean Wraith? I've heard about her through the facility. She is quite the anomaly."

"Yes and I promised her and the others that I would get them out of here, and I meant what I said."

"I see that. Let me heal you up, you as well darling." Niall bent down and touched Reyna first. His mutation began to work immediately. His energy seeped into her, closing her wounds and giving her energy she thought was gone. Niall looked drained afterwards, but he turned to Xandre and nodded. "You're next handsome."

Again he placed his hand on Xandre's shoulder and within a few moments Xandre's cut had closed. It was strange the feeling one felt when they were healed by Niall. Leaning against a tree, Niall sighed.

"I wanted to find you. The others are dead. I found bodies strewn about, I think the group you encountered had something to do with it. I couldn't stay any longer, I had to come find you, I am certain Sam is behind this, though why would he kill us?"

"He wouldn't. To him we are play toys, things to experiment with to find out more about us. We fascinate him, we make him curious, and as long as we are alive it is like a game to him and he will come and attempt to capture us. I believe there is treachery at work here though." Xandre stood to his feet and closed his eyes. "Ember open your mind."

His mind reached out sending a signal to all of them, those that he had saved and those he saved who were still alive. His location was a mystery to even him, but he would feel their presence and know where they were. One mind stood out and it was Ember, though something was indeed wrong. Her mind was chaotic, several things happening at once. It was like firing a machine gun. The vibrations she had put off made him fully aware that she may be in danger. He looked at Reyna and Niall.

"They're in that direction," he said heading in the direction he had felt Ember's mind. He linked with Evan's mind once more and gave him his general direction. He could feel stress from both parties. "No doubt Evan and Ember are under attack as well. We must move, we must get to Ember. Evan knows how to maneuver, he can read the signs I left him in the visions, at least I hope.."
