" Welcome home, Mistress Kanno." They said in unison. Even after all these ears, it still unsettled Kanno that they could always pull things off like this in perfect unison, never missing a beat. She slowly lowered herself off of Jackson and dropped onto the ground. " Thanks for walking me home. A very interesting first for me. I suppose I shall see you and your parents tomorrow." Giving a short bow of her own to Jackson, she walked through the massive doors to her mansion flanked by the servants After the doors closed, a few of the servants broke their professional behavior and started grinning at a now very flustered Kanno.

"S-Shut up! It's nothing." She stormed up the ornate flight of stairs and went into her room. Kanno found a rather fancy dress waiting for her in the corner, evidently for tomorrows party if the note was anything to go by. Falling onto her bed, she cursed herself, and then began cursing Jackson. He had to be a magician for her to act so differently around him, and even drop too many hints that could unravel her entire life. There was no way he could make her facade be so...real. Or could he?

Trying to get her mind off the void esper, Kanno pressed her palm against a large cabinet, and it opened up revealing an armory. She perused the various firearms and weaponry before pulling out one of her helmets. She stared into its black visor and realized that some tiny part of her inside had fallen for the foreigner. At this point, the logical part of her brain had surmised that it would lower her performance and that he would need to be disposed of. Then Kanno suddenly punched a hole through the wall with her arm. No. It had been so long since she didn't need to give in to the emotionless killer inside her. She would keep control. Falling back onto her, she fell asleep wondering just how much longer she'd be allowed to keep up this "normal" life.
