Horatio raised a brow at such a bold declaration, but found he couldn't argue against it. Whatever his...issues, Doc Cottle seemed pretty able to defend and watch over Brother Samuel. And if the Brother did die, they would indeed know who to hold responsible.

With that issue settled for now, Horatio turned his attention back to Anna. Glancing over at the other three men in the room, he leaned in to whisper back. "And what if that whiskey wasn't sold in town? What if it came from Baker City, or from a private collection, even? The Daniels didn't necessarily have to buy it themselves...it could always have been given to them by a supposed friend. If the whiskey isn't from town, it'll be harder to judge where it came from. And either way, we'd still best speak to these people. We're Dogs, and we leave no stone unturned, Anna."
