"Very well, but I pray that you take the utmost caution." Anna said to the doctor. "I imagine Sheriff Cobbs thought himself a vigilant man as well."
She then looked back to Horatio, letting out a restless sigh. It was simple impatience, Anna knew. A less kind Pack leader would scold her for her youthful impetuousness. And yet Anna only wanted to find the culprit, if only from a fear that their good fortune would not last. But with Samuel able to provide the most important information once he awoke, they had the time to search more thoroughly. Or so Anna hoped.
"The mayor and the preacher, then. They could have noticed any of the townsfolk acting oddly over the last few weeks." Anna whispered back to Horatio. "And perhaps Nate Blake, if we have the time. I did not find anything to suggest his involvement, even the Sheriff's widow thinks he is innocent."
