Anna followed Joshua and Horatio out to the church, still feeling restless. Her thoughts were more on the posse and the upcoming battle, presuming that it would be to such a scale, rather than any lingering investigation in the town. If the poisoned whiskey could not be traced, than the best chance flushing out the entire conspiracy was to capture the culprits alive. A difficult task with a Pack of Dogs, much less a disorganized posse of townsfolk. Still, the children could likely help to identify any conspirators that were not present, if Anna and Horatio were able to led the posse to them in time. It all came down to the nagging thought in the back of Anna's head that they were running out of time.

"A humble life is a faithful life." Anna said idly in response to the preacher's comment. She noted Horatio's look, her restlessness compelling her to pace around the small office as she spoke. "Have you been preaching here long, Father? Noticed anyone acting oddly in the last few weeks, perhaps? Mrs. Cobbs told me that Nate Blake and the Sheriff had a family quarrel, but I've not seen much to suggest he is the murderer, but I imagine you would know of any tensions in your flock, yes?"
