Just then, a flash of blue hair caught his eye and his gaze as drawn toward the girl standing next to Casperean. She had a manner about her that made her seem... familiar, something that he couldn't put his finger on. It reminded him of a certain man, so many lifetimes ago, and his cheeks flushed despite himself. Slightly shocked, he pulled his gaze away and frowned. It was a long time since girl had triggered such a reaction from him, perhaps it was time to reconsider his sexuality. Either that or being in a man's body was really affecting his thoughts and reactions to a bigger scale than he expected. However, he ignored those thoughts, following Asahina into the classroom.
His table was unsurprisingly filled to the brim with letters and poems. With a sigh, he pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose in mild annoyance. He could hardly see his desk under the pile of different envelops. Since he had a reputation for looking clever and nerdy, he had been receiving mainly letters and poetry. Perhaps it was time to invest in some contacts? Still, he stacked the papers up in a neat pile, searching for a ribbon to bind them with under his desk. He never really outright rejected one of those confessions before, knowing far too well the fear of rejection and heartbreak.
Yet, letting them hold on to that hope was far crueler. Once again, it seemed like he could never avoid hurting someone. No matter how he tried, people will always end up getting hurt, wouldn't they? His fingers danced across the table top and his eyes stared off to somewhere far away, lost in his thoughts, only snapping out of his little trance when the subject teacher entered the room.
