As Milah rummaged through the shelves she'd catch a glimpse of a figure moving past the market window, and in an instant she'd drop what was in her hands and raise her rifle. However it only took a few seconds for her to realize that it wasn't a walker, but even so she was still on guard, especially as the man began to browse as if it was just another day in the market. Milah had made contact with other individual survivors a few times before and it was always more of a panicked or shocked reaction, so she couldn't help but wonder what had this guy so abnormally casual.

After she was satisfied with the contents of her bag Milah began to tie it shut, and as she did so she'd notice the man approaching her out the corner of her eye.

"I don't suppose you have some batteries to barter for. I'm Lukas, by the way."
Milah couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at such a question and after closing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder she'd turn to face the man - attempting her hand at a small brief smile.

"Uh, batteries? Well yeah, I have one set, but I can't really afford to share - sorry."
Milah would quickly walk around the man and out the market door, and as she approached her truck she'd scan the surrounding area for walkers. At first glance the area was empty and Milah got into her vehicle with every intent on pulling off, however within seconds of closing the door her eyes widen at the picture forming at the end of the block in front of her.
"Oh God..." she whispered to herself as she spotted a group of at least twenty or thirty walkers rounding the street corner. She could pull off and get at a dodge, but that would leave the man she just left completely ignorant to the impending threat. The market windows were partially shattered and the door was off it's hinges, so it would provide no real shelter.
Milah was in a pickle, she didn't want to leave her vehicle or call out to him and bring attention to herself but she couldn't just leave another person to die - could she?

After a frustrated moan Milah would quickly push Cocky and her bag out of the way and roll the passenger side window down far enough to stick her rifle out it. She hated to waste an arrow but it was the only way she could insure this guy would look at her. So as soon as she aimed the rifle through an open part of the market window Milah would shoot towards one of the shelves, hoping to get the man's attention. She'd wave frantically for him to come to her, and after waiting for several seconds she'd start up her truck's engine and pull off.

As expected the group of walkers instantly gave chase, but as soon as Milah rounded the corner she made a sharp turn into a covered parking deck directly behind the Police department and quickly shut off her engine. Her fingers unconsciously crossed as she hoped the walkers rounding the corner hadn't spotted her turning into the dimly lit parking deck and would instead continue running straight on the road, and to her massive relief the brainless corpses ran right by as she had hoped.
Milah sighed at the sight, but before she could get too comfortable she'd spot a lone walker running towards her door from deeper inside the parking deck. As soon as it came within range Milah opened her door and knocked it to the ground, giving her enough time to then step out of the vehicle and line her rifle up with it's head before pulling the trigger.

After she pulled the arrow out of the walker's head, wiped it off with a napkin from her pocket, and then loaded it back into the rifle, Milah caught a glimpse of Cocky. The pup had wisely stayed in the vehicle but began growling at the walker on the ground - something she couldn't help but chuckle at before getting back inside the vehicle and locking her door.
"Now what?" she asked aloud as she scanned the immediate area inside the parking deck - not wanting to go back out onto the city streets just yet. She'd quickly spot a door with a flashing EXIT sign above it, and assume it led into the back of the police station and perhaps whatever business was once beside it.
