Lia couldn't help but nod to Paige's assessment of Callum. It was true. When he wanted to be alone, it was best not to poke the bear. She sighed, rubbing her hands together to keep them warm. She watched her friend get up to rummage through the cooler. She couldn't help but perk up a little at that. She was starving, even after eating dinner earlier. "Thanks." She said taking the sandwich. She opened the zip lock and arranged the sandwich before biting into it.
She looked up at Paige when she noticed her friend was still standing near her and watching her. She nodded, quickly swallowing the bite she had taken. "Uh... sure." She got up, heading away from the campfire so the others wouldn't hear whatever Paige was worrying about.
"What's up, chickadee?" Amelia asked, taking another bite of her sandwich. She chewed quietly, really having no idea what was on Paige's mind. Hell, her mind hadn't even really drifted in the direction Paige was thinking of. "Did I do something?" She asked, hoping Paige wasn't suspicious about how close she and Callum had gotten over the last month and a half.
