Following suite behind Nathan as they crossed the street, he chuckled lightly. "I'm always glad to be out. I'm just giddy now because cute girls are involved, learn the difference," he chastised his friend.
Ezra was no stranger to the dating scene. Well, not so much the dating scene as much as it was the party scene. He'd never really dated anyone for too long a time period, having them never turn into anything more serious then what they where intended for. Fun. It was hard to truly date someone in this city when he had the tiniest bit of an issue because he wasnβt exactly human. When people used to tell him βOh, youβre an angel!β When he was either kind or sweet, they didnβt know the half of it. He knew one day he would have to date another one of his kind, that or find a human that he cared for so deeply that he felt like he could share his heavenly secret to them, have them believe him, and be perfectly fine with their forbidden love.
Then again, there was always the option to stay a bachelor all his life. Be like those old dudes with a lot of cash and fancy cars, surrounded by girls the rest of their lives. Heβd just have that, minus the heaps of cash and nice cars. One girl at a time too, Ezra wasnβt about casually dating multiple girls at once. Strictly a serial monogamous was he.
Walking past Nathan and through the doors of probably the nicest restaurant heβs ever stepped into, He glanced around for a moment, taking it all in. βWow, I thought the only way I could eat in a place like this would be by becoming some woman's gigolo,β he gaped, turning his curly head back to give a wide grin his friends way. He probably said that a wee bit too loud, but he honestly couldnβt care less. Moving over to where the slightly disgruntled host was, who clearly had heard him say what he did before considering the once over her gave the boy, he said βhi, weβre with the Ponzio reservation.β The man simply nodded, muttering something under his breath that sounded a lot like βof course you are,β as he grabbed two menuβs before leading them off into what appeared to be a more back roomed section of the upscale joint.
Spotting the pretty taller girl already seated at the couch, he gave her a lazy but oh-so-charming smile her way, before sliding into the couch opposite facing her. βHello, there darling.β He grinned, after the host trudged back over to his presumed post.

Once she finally entered through the doors, she was greeted with a very big smile from the host who obviously recognized the frequent customer. βHello, Ms. Demetriou! So glad to see you. Is your elder brother not joining you this evening?β Jace simply returned the smile, shaking her head. βPlease, call me Jace, formalities make me feel like my mom,β she giggled lightly, while the statement was completely serious. It also reminded her of her role. When she visited her parents, which was now more frequent then ever, she swore everyone around her only ever called her Miss, Ms.Demetrio, or her least favourite, your highness. It made reality settle in all too much for her, and she didnβt want to think about her duty until it was right time to do so.
The host nodded apprehensively, saying, βAlrightβ¦ Jace.β Wow, he looked almost in pain to not use formalities. βWell, if youβve come to dine by yourself, Iβm sure I can find you a table I didnβt see that you had a reservation tonight?β He questioned. βNo, I donβt, but my friend does, under Ponzio,β she smiled, before his turned into a fake one of his own. βOh, yesβ¦ Well sheβs here as well as her other guests, let me lead the way.β Jace just nodded, before she was led into the back room.
Greeting the others with a smile, she began to slide into the seat next to Kelila, before the host asked, βMs.Deme- I mean Jace, would you like me to take your coat for you?β Jace shook her head, offering up another smile. βNo, Iβm fine. But thank you.β He simply nodded, before stating their waiter would be there very shorty, and left.
βYou making enemies again?β She questioned her friend sitting beside her, as she slipped her leather jacket off and sat it beside her, along with her helmet before feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket. Checking it, she noticed around eight missed texts and three missed calls, all from big brother Dory. βJesusβ¦β she mumbled under her breath, before looking back up at all three, βI have to call someone, really sorry, Iβll be one second.β Sliding out from the table, she quickly dialled her brothers number, moving over to the windowed wall, glancing out of the pretty spectacular view of the city. After five rings, it went to his voice mail, and Jace sighed. For someone who looked like he needed to get a hold of her desperately, he wasnβt all that easy to get a hold of either. Guess their both just going to have to deal with it.
Moving back to sit beside Kelila, she tucked her phone away once more, before glancing up at all three. βSo whatβs everyone having?β She questioned.
