They were silent for a while, when Jason said "Savi, I..." Suddenly, Jason looked up, eyes wide, and he let go of Savi's hand. "Jason?" She looked at him with concern. He then slumped in his seat, eyes closed. In the booth behind them, an Electric Elemental had sent a fork of electricity to Jason, stunning him. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? The Forbidden who faked his death." Savi came out of her shock (pun intended), then shook Jason. "Jason! Jason!!" She glared at the Elemental. "You will be the first of your group to get out of here right now." She whacked the Elemental so hard, the Elemental vanished. She glared at the others, and they, too, vanished. Savi looked at Jason and took his hand. "Please don't die on me, please don't die on me, please don't die on me..." Jason began breathing again, and Savi exhaled. He would live. And all this had to happen on her birthday. Since it would be a long time before she would be able to do this while Jason was awake, she kissed him on the cheek, then sat at the table, waiting for him to wake up.
