He laughed lightly at Nymeria's reaction to the Star Tear's. He knew she would enjoy it, and it made the discussion that much easier for both of them to bear. Her interest in the quest was obviously less than enthusiastic and rightly so. Kurn sighed and blushed a little in embarrassment at his part in the quest.

"To be honest, it is partially my fault you were chosen to be apart of Lycaon's ambition. I suggested using hero's instead of ourselves to complete his task. Once you learn what the quest is you will understand why we cannot do this on our own. It is a political conundrum, this quest. Lycaon seems to think he deserves what is at the end of the tunnel, and I admit it would be safer if he did have it. I just don't want to see him start another war because of it."

Kurn usually had well maintained self control, but this time he realized he had said too much already and put his hand to his mouth."Oh, well you did not hear that from me. I must seem silly, spilling my secrets to you like this." He runs his fingers through his hair and laughs a little to dispel the tension in him. Thinking for a moment Kurn spins his fingers through the air as a silver shimmering thread appears wrapped around them. The thread turned out to be a necklace with Kurn's symbol of a sapphire star with a white light that glowed in the center of the jewel."Here, a gift from me to you. Meditate with this in your hands and I will come to you in your mind. If you have ever a need to speak with me don't hesitate to use it."
