Shaking himself to regain his composure, he looked towards the fallen comrade with worry. It was the she rose to her paws and immediately gave him accusatory shouts and glares. He was a bit shaken that she would be this antagonistic towards him but then again, if memory serves this Alva has always been a bit testy. "Well I uh." He wasn't quite sure what to say in this situation. Racking his brain for a moment he spoke, "Well you must know I didn't mean anything by this...it was an accident." Durandel spoke with a gulp. "I mean, I didn't wish to spring a trap upon you I just wished to talk with you." Durandel explained. Then he noticed something was a bit off with BattleDemon. She looked a bit distracted as if lost in some sort of thought.

Then her expression changed from one of anger to tiredness. Was she alright? It was then he was horribly confused when she asked who he was. Had she forgotten all about him already? Sure he wasn't the most impressionable amongst their group he supposes, but he thought it would be hard to forget someone who was imprisoned against their will with you. After the ordeals they have shared he figured it would be difficult to forget something like that. But alas, it seems the Alva was confused over his actions and her look was that of a person meeting a stranger. Feeling a bit pained and confused himself he answered, "Well, it's me, Durandel...uh, you do remember me don't you?" The Canicus asked.

"I'm an old friend of yours...we uh, we did travel together for a little while with others." Durandel continued. "I, well, I needed to talk with you over some issues that came about in my life. Being old companions, I figured it would have been easy to speak with someone you knew that could probably help you out." Durandel spoke. The Canicus wasn't quite sure how to explain these things clearly and worried he may just be adding more confusion to the situation. "Um, you are okay, are you?" He asked.
