mac#B81E21 - THOUGHTS
"Ah, your lines are smooth and flow well." It was the first thing he noticed from the image. The sketching reminded him a lot of his sister's style when she was younger and went through an all-anime phase. Liesel had since outgrown it, but its influence remained evident in her work. "It's architecture. I design buildings."
From the open door, the sounds of conversation filtered through; it seemed others had arrived. He gave it a look, feeling reluctant to go downstairs with a crowd, but knowing he had to grab his things from the couch. "I'm guessing everyone's arrived by now; we should introduce ourselves when we can. I'll go down ahead and collect the rest of my stuff." With that, he left, closing the door behind him with his foot so she wouldn't be bothered by the noise if she decided to stay in.
Andaming tao. (A lot of people.) He'd silently made his way down the steps, not wanting to draw attention to himself as he did. From what he'd heard on the way down, it sounded like some of them were headed out to do groceries. Oh yeah, our pantry's probably empty. The rest of his luggage remained untouched, and he reached then swung both onto his left shoulder, wincing a bit at the sudden weight. The tube that contained his portfolio wasn't the problem; it was his duffle bag of clothes that contained the bulk of the weight.
He listened in on them as he adjusted the straps, frowning as he realized he likely wouldn't be involved in the day trip. He needed to set-up and unpack his things after all. Just figuring out how to stow his multiple prints was going to take half an hour.
Wyatt didn't feel 100% comfortable joining the conversation, but his need for efficiency far outweighed his antisocial tendencies. After all, he had no idea just how familiar these people were with housekeeping. "If you're all heading out, exchange phone numbers." The fact he used English in a fully French conversation was a bit jarring, calling a lot of attention to himself unintentionally. With an inaudible sigh, he brought out his own phone, new sim card already in place from when he'd set it at the airport. "There are other things we need besides food, like cleaning supplies and basic medications. I can compile a list and text it once I see what we have."
