The windows she lined with salt as well, and she heard the grumbling of her friend's stomach. She had to admit she was hungry as well, as they had traveled all day to get to where they were. While they didn't do much yet that day, they'd need to pack the calories for later. Running around all day like small children, except with much more purpose.
"Hey do you want me to draw the devil's trap rather than the circle of salt?" Evie whispered. Alice barely heard her, but gave a reply.
"Probably a good idea" she responded. Alice opened up the cargo bag that she had in the truck, setting it on her bed, the only closest to the wall. Inside she had things ranging from hex bags, salt, guns, and knives. Alice seemingly over packed such things. It was only out of caution. When there was only two of them, they couldn't afford risk.
Alice suited her belt. Inside the rim of her pants she put a knife etched with runes to harm demons. A gun in her pants as well. On her leg she had another knife holstered just for protection.
"We can get food at that coffee shop on the way in" she said as she walked into the bathroom. She zipped down her hoodie, looking at the new tattoo she had gotten in the town back. Perhaps she was silly to even get it tattooed on herself, but she was just that paranoid to ever become one of those.
Around the tattoo it was still red. It still worked though. She looked to Evie from the bathroom mirror.
"According to our last trip, we have 3 days until they move once again. We don't have time to wait. After we eat, we need to get going" she told her knowingly. She wanted to stop these killings. They only made her hate herself more. Those people she couldn't protect. It wasn't like they could just tell them a vampire was in the city. She'd get herself put in an asylum if she did that.
"My first idea you may not like. It involves you dressing...well, under dressing. And clubbing. Every girl has been found at a club or local hot spot. If he can lure you, we have him" she told her as she leaned against the side of the door, jingling the keys.

"I've been doing well thanks for asking, but we both know that the reason I'm here today isn't about me." his brother said, and he only rolled his eyes before grinning.
"You sound like Dr.Phil brother. Don't worry, your big brother has it all under control and panned out" he said with humor lacing his words. He didn't take such confrontation seriously. Hunter was not threatened by his brother in the slightest, and his brother's demeanor wouldn't change.
Ryder wouldn't do anything to stop him. He'd only continue in his worrying and cowering. At his brother's comeback he snorted. His brother was the same as always. He hadn't changed a bit. Ryder couldn't tell whether that was a good or a bad thing. While he loved his brother, he'd always had been someone to over shadow him. His brother was a follower unlike him. He carved his own path.
"So it's her today is it?" Ryder nodded his head towards the blondie, "I'm sure she tastes absolutely horrible though but you wouldn't care huh bro?" his brother continued. Hunter let out a scoff.
"Now that you've ruined it, I can't have her. I'm sure you taste terrible as well, so I'd shut up" he spoke, looking to the blonde girl before looking back at his brother. Maybe he'd kill two, just to spite his younger brother.
"It'll be whoever I please. But we both know I wouldn't have some virgin high schooler. You need to have a bit of fun first. You should join me. It's been too long since we've hung out together" Hunter spoke, narrowing his eyes.
"You shouldn't poke your head in my business Ryder. It won't end well. If you aren't going to join me, you need to stay out of my way" he spoke seriously, breaking the smug persona.
