"Thanks for the offer but I don't want to intrude. Besides, what would your parents think when they come home finding me in the house. I don't want to get you into trouble Jason," she stated in a very soft, caring tone. A tone that she never thought she would end up using for anyone but her own parents, whom have been deceased for the past few years.
Alison really couldn't believe that Jason was being so kind to her. In school, he always seemed to act like he doesn't care about anyone. Like no one else in the world mattered but the popular kids. She was actually finding that she trusted Jason a lot more than anyone else in the world. Part of her even thought she was falling for him. At that point she remembered the prom, she needed to tell him...no...she wanted to tell him.
"Um, Jason...I want to tell you something. Though when I tell you, you might not believe me but it's the truth." she stated out of the pure silence.
