Akane was yowling about a rodent of some sort. Apparently it went under a tree and he could not reach it. This went on for a few minutes and was painfully loud to Rin. The pink-haired Nekomata was unsure if it bugged the bird at all. She was still wondering what he was. Finally Akane stopped his noise as he ran up another tree after what looked like a squirel.

All this time Rin was lost in thought, Dazed. Confused. When she came to, she climbed out of the tree, Got the basket and took out four slices of bread, brought them up the tree and presented three them in front of the bird. She split the fourth piece in half and threw the other on the ground, Either to be eaten by the cat waiting below or used as rodent bait for hunting, However Akane saw it fit. Rin started eating her half of sliced bread.
