Mikaze chuckled as his best friend squeaked in excitement just right after he finished making their dinner. He knows how bad Hitoshi is when it comes to food and cooking so you can say that one of the best way to win his best friend's heart is through the stomach, like they always say. Mikaze was quite happy that there's something that he could do to make someone important to him happy, to proves that he wasn't just some weaklings who can only sit in a corner while waiting to be protected. A shoulder for someone to lean on, perhaps?
As Hitoshi sat down and began to dig in, Mikaze also took an onigiri and slowly gobbled it away while keeping the conversation going between them, "This is a town near the sea after all so we can go for a swim, hmm? Though my last experience with the sea isn't really pleasant, heh. I don't really fancy being burned again. Though if you really wanted to then I guess we should be able to find something to do."
Listening to Hitoshi suggested ideas of what they can do for the time being, Mikaze nodded, "That sounds good. We have a whole month ahead of us so we don't have to rush things. Let's make a to-do-list and we'll figure out things that we can do to at least make this trip a memorable one. Doesn't it sound good?" He grinned, "I think there's going to be a festival of sort here next week too. It's going to be fun."
Then, they went on to finish their meal with Hitoshi then proceeded with the washing-up. Mikaze couldn't help but secretly gazing at his best friend for some short moments, with his face reddened a bit. Somehow, those carefree moments of Hitoshi made his heart went all 'doki doki' for reasons that he couldn't even understand. Slapping his face again, Mikaze kept reminded himself not to let his over-imaginative mind going too wild. This is his best friend he's talking about, not those normal models he usually fantasize himself with.
Hitoshi laughed lightly as he jokingly suggested that they should just sleep all day without really doing anything, which Mikaze just chuckled, "Sure, that is also an option, if you're too lazy to do anything at all." Then he sat down while reassured that it was only a joke, "I know already. Though it was nice that we didn't have to wake up early in the morning for now, don't you think?"
"Well, I guess we can figure out what to do tomorrow." Mikaze stood up and stretched his arms, "Do you want to just go and sleep now or have any better things to do?"
