"Yeah, nice to see you too Annelise," she stated just as she was engulfed in a hug by Chantal, her best friend. Cherry returned the hug and sat down on one of the stools in the kitchen as she was offered drinks to choose from. "I'll just have a coffee," she responded. "You do remember how I like it, right?" she questioned with a small, sarcastic smirk. Of course Chantal did. She knew almost everything about her, though it has been a long time since they spent any time together. It was nice to see her.
Cherry honestly couldn't believe the summer was already over. She just wished she already graduated so she could stay home with Isabella all day and do anything she wanted. But of course, school had to be taken care of first, she was just glad she was a senior this year. "After school do you want to come to my place for a swim? You can stay for the night if you want," she glanced over at Annelise, "You're welcome to tag along as well if you'd like." If Cherry were being honest with herself, if it weren't for Chantal being friends with Annelise, she wouldn't even associate with her. Yeah, they happen to be friends, but they were never all that close. The only time they hung out was when Chantal had her around. They never did anything together.
