The chaos realm was as Ty had promised it, and he stepped through, shape changing as soon as he was fully in it, to a nightmareish caricature of him, coloring, and proportions all wrong. He looked too long and too thing to be human here. The boy waited by the rip, scythe out to guard Kurt with as he kept an eye out for any beings that would cause them trouble. The curse, he noticed, floated a little ahead, but he didn't dare move to capture it, and leave the tear unguarded and open, or leave Kurt halfway between the two worlds.
Ty was many things, but he was not big on abandoning other. He knew better than to do something so atrocious. The world around them was a nightmare landscape. Kurt, he knew, might end up frightened.
