Mikaze didn't know whether if it was due to his exhaustion last night or not but it seems the night has quickly passed and dawn had approached. It almost felt like the sun is already at its peak for now as the sunlight blared through the traditional-styled window and beamed on his face, making him flinched a little. A habit of Mikaze is that if he didn't have to go to school then he'll sleep in for about an hour or two later than the time he was supposed to up to prepare for school, so he crawled deeper into the futon and covered his head with the blanket, plugging his ears off the chirping of the birds outside. But soon enough, he was woken up by something else.
The sound of a piano echoes through the hall and made its way into their room. This confirmed that his best friend has risen up and already started to play the first piece of music of the day. Sitting up on his futon, Mikaze stretched his arms while rubbing his eyes a little. He's secretly a little relieved that he wasn't be woken up by some sort of pranks by Hitoshi. While he didn't really nag his best friend about it, sometimes it does get a bit irritating. He still remembered the time when he opened his eyes after his sleep and almost passed out because of a fake mouse Hitoshi put under his blanket.
Looking by the side, Mikaze could see that the other blanket somehow has flown to the other side of the room, while the futon was a bit messy. He shrugged. It was typical of Hitoshi after all. He stood up and folded both his and Hitoshi's blankets and futons neatly before stepping out of the room and headed towards the source of the melody. Just as he's found Hitoshi is when the tune ended.
"Already awake? That's new." He chuckled and gave the other a comment. "So I guess you've already caught the tune by ear, huh? I'll get some practice on my part sometimes later too."
Scratching the back of his head, Mikaze turned his back and was about to head towards the bathroom, "I'll go and wash my face and make ourselves some breakfast. Tag along if you want."
With that said, he made his way into the bathroom. On his way, he could see that his and Hitoshi's clothes from yesterday were washed and hung outside of the ground outside. Apparently someone has taken care of the chores while they're still sleeping. Well, it was nice that they didn't have to do any cleaning around the house though since that would take forever. Mikaze did some personal hygiene and went to the kitchen.
There's still some white rice left over from last night so Mikaze heated it up by the microwave. He then proceeded to make some miso soup and fried some beef and placed them on the table, waiting until Hitoshi come. He was wondering what should they do for today.
