Human in appearance with the physical prowess of a celestial warrior, the two girl were scouting. Possible exits. Hiding spots. Anything in particular that could be of use in the future. Maude scratched the inside of her wrist, but Blythe reached out and grabbed her hand. She shook her head once. If Maude kept scratching, she would break her skin. Where would they be then? She glanced at the three strange creatures out of the corner of her eye.

She perked up when the boy returned. He was mysterious. Adorable, really. His stutter seemed to emphasize that point. She hoped they could be friends. She and Blythe had never had friends before.
