Rachel just grinned in a matter-of-fact manner as she was wheeled in, raised a hand in recognition and chuckled.

"See what I mean? Everything around here is nuts. Even the hospital workers are thick as a plank. I wouldn't put it past them to have me signed in a Gary Smith or something."

She looked down at her arm and grimaced. Whatever had happened that day had not been welcome at all and she almost regretted visiting in the first place. But she had to. She wanted to confront the man who went quiet on her. The man who had spouted off on how much he cared for her years previously and yet never returned a single phone call, or sent a single letter after being transferred into... Where was it they were again? Out in the damn sticks, that's bloody well where! No... She intended to get the full story and at least give him a proper piece of her mind before she left again. She glanced up at Scarlet again.
