He had rolled onto his stomach to watch the exchange between Ember and Huo before answering her question. "I'm Totes. Nice to meet you." He gave her a little wave before looking over to the signs that told them where the different paths led. He mulled over the choices for a moment, one scaly finger tapping at the side of his jaw as he thought. The Isle Defenders HeadQuarters sounded better than anything else. A headquarters meant people, or, in this case, other Pokemon. Maybe they could get some answers. At the very least, hopefully the others were friendly and gave them a place to stay and some food to eat.
"The headquarters sounds like a good idea." He said aloud, looking back and forth between Huo and Ember with a short nod. He didn't seem as concerned as the others about finding answers due to his relaxed nature, but he could at least understand the importance of finding some context to their situation.
