Hitoshi followed close behind Mikaze as the two exited the house and made their way to the town's main road. Stores and vendors lined the street and there were people scattered here and there, buying things or talking to one another.

"Barbecue sounds great, but if we buy meat we should buy it when we're on our way back so we don't have to worry about it going bad during the day."

Eyeing the different shops, Hitoshi searched for something of interest. Idle chat moved back and forth between the two boys. Hitoshi pointed out a couple of sports to Mikaze - a library/bookstore, a Cat Cafe, and signs pointing in the direction of a park. Hitoshi figured it'd be nicer to let Mikaze decide where to go first.

"Hey...what do you think it'd be like if we dated like they want us to?"

Staring at the ground in front of him, Hitoshi asked the question quietly while trying to pretend he wasn't red in the face. He was curious, after all, they'd come here for a reason. He figured they should at least talk about it before their month was up.

In a way, he was comfortable with the idea of dating Mikaze. Hitoshi had known the boy since they were grade schoolers, and they'd even seen each other naked before, so there wasn't a whole lot that could be considered 'new'.

"Y'know, if you wanted to go out, I wouldn't really mind..."

Hitoshi felt the heat in his cheeks. It wasn't even a lie, yet he couldn't help but blush.
