It wasn't long before Connor had become serious and she too was alert, after all they both had to be on the safe side. With a firm nod she headed out towards the two men on her right. Confidently she strolled in, winking flirtatiously at the handsome blonde. If only I didn't have to mess up that pretty little face of his, she thought with a smirk. Without hesitation she decreased the gravity around the blondie which rendered him pretty useless as he could hardly move. Moving her index finger upwards he proceeded to float upwards and stayed there, his anger flashing across his eyes. The shorter dark headed man rushed towards her, punching her across the face with enough force to cause her to jump backwards.
Rebecca rolled her eyes, her upper lip slightly swollen due to the force. "Calm down, I'll give you some attention too shorty." With that she used her gravity force to repulse him backwards against the wall at such a shattering force that regardless of how much he tried, he wouldn't be able to move...at least for a few days. Sighing gently she walked towards the blonde man who was still floating around and raised her eyebrows at his anger. "It sucks doesn't it? Trust me I was stuck like that for a good few hours when I first figured out I could do that..." she tilted her head ever so slightly for a better view "just think 'light' and you'll be fine."
She walked towards Connor who had dealt with his two, "So, I suppose they know we're here. Rebecca looked over at the crack on the wall and with a sigh as her response wondered whether they'd have to deal with them quickly. Biting her upper lip and then immediately regretted that decision she internally groaned at the thought of having to see John. Regardless of them drawing the line between work and life, it was incredibly awkward and just plain cringe worthy.
It was as if her body knew that Hellfire was around the corner and automatically she dodged her fireballs. Rebecca groaned quietly, half due to the tiredness kicking in and half to do with having to deal with fire. It was such an inconvenience for her these days and although Connor had been helping her out, which has helped her a considerable amount, a fear was still a fear. Quickly she surrounded herself with a gravitational field to protect herself but also to amplify her strength which was helpful in situations like these.
Rebecca could tell that Hellfire was aiming for Connor and as she glanced towards him she signaled to him to ask whether he needed help or not. Otherwise she'd go ahead a look for John who had probably taken something from the vault. Something they probably had to take back from him. She changed the center of her body's gravity so that her steps were lighter, that she could almost walk along the walls if needed. She also thought of Eris and tried to send a thought of to her, you okay Eris?.
