Jacob would have to work on the computer to undo the corruption. It would be like hacking a terminal its self, and would be very hard, but maybe more information would be poured out if he were to work on it. Maybe how it was repaired, how it was destroyed, and maybe how to operate it. And maybe even a way to unlock a safe somewere in the house.
