Daedrin didn't waste time with conversation, he instantly found cover behind one of the check out counters and scanned for the raiders. He peeked around the counter and almost had his head blown off by a raider with a shotgun. He ducked back behind the counter to save his face and drew out his baton which extended into a 2ft stick. When the raider came around the corner Daedrin tried to aim the end of the stick in the middle of the raider's arms and lock onto the gun arm of the raider. He raised the pistol over his shoulder and aimed it at the raider's head and fired off several shots as he twisted at the raiders wrist with the baton to make him drop his gun.

He heard more raiders coming and knew if he didn't clean up with the first raider he would be quickly overwhelmed. He put his pistol away and grabbed each end of the baton with each hand and spun it in an attempt to flip the raider onto their back so he could crush their vocal cords with his boot. He had trained himself with combat manuals and with Arron when he was still younger, knowing he would be a part of the security force, so he had somewhat of an idea how to fight hand to hand. After dispatching the raider he disengaged from the corpse and redrew his pistol after holstering his baton and peeked around the counter again to spot the next raider.
