"It's not too obvious, but obvious enough." Leto replied with a smile. "Well Dani, despite what happened, it's nice to meet you." He stated with his smile growing somewhat bigger. He watched as she followed behind him, impressed that she's been able to keep up with him like this. "What? No, it's ok. Really. I've got a place to stay, it just wouldn't be the best idea to bring in people I just met. My father's a little.....overprotective I guess you could say." He replied to her offer of him staying at the inn with her. He gave her a reassuring smile to show that he would be ok.
Once they got to ground level he continued to follow her back to her room at the inn, wanting to make sure she got back fine. He was a gentleman after all. When she asked him what it was like to live in Nander he gave her a curious look, feeling like it was an odd question. "Hmm, that's a odd question to answer. I haven't lived anywhere except for Nander, so I really wouldn't know what to compare it to." He stated as he pondered an answer to a question he thought impossible to answer.
"Well, I guess it's hard, tough really. So many people get hurt, so many in pain. But even more stand by and let it happen, not doing a thing about it. I think that's even worse." He stated as he began pulling the cloth over his eye. "Whether we're Graced, or not, we're still people. We still bleed, we still hurt, we still feel joy, and love. At the end of the day no one's really all that different when you think about it." He continued, clearly showing he felt strongly about this topic, despite what others of his country think.
"Ok so how about you? Where are you from? From you accent I would have to say...Liened right?" He asked in equal curiosity as her. "What's it like there?" He asked her. He took in a deep breath, and sighed. "I've always wanted to travel to other countries, to see the world outside of these borders. But my father would never allow me. I've got too many responsibilities here to be able to do something like that." He stated in a somewhat disappointed tone. He chuckled slightly when he realized he was telling a girl he had just met about his biggest dream.
"So why are you here anyways? In Nander I mean." He asked, not worrying if he was prying too much into her personal life. He felt comfortable around her for some reason. "It's not exactly a great vacation spot with the war, and all. Especially for those with Grace."
