"There's nothing for you to protect me from anymore. Quite clearly I am useless, you say I keep you human? When I tried, tried to convince you you weren't a monster, we fought, and you disappeared for three months. " Lily said softly, but she didn't move from where she was lying down, she couldn't convince herself to. Lily watched Lawrence for a moment, wrapping her arm over her stomach with a small sigh. "Ever since I was little, I've wanted a big family. But, I don't get that, because you're all so worried about me dying all the time, I did it before, I can do it again...but my feelings don't matter as long as I'm safe right?" Lily shifted her weight slightly before rolling over so that her back was facing Trevor. She didn't say another word, just closed her eyes again letting herself drift back to sleep.
Lily hadn't moved from their bed all day, hadn't spoken another word to anyone, she just laid there, drifting in and out of sleep. When she finally got up it was evening and the sun was just starting to set, she walked into the main room barely acknowledging the fact Debra was now there, she looked down slightly when Lawrence crawled over pulling Lily's pj bottoms in order to stand up, he reached out one hand keeping the other tightly gripped on her pants so he didn't fall. "Mumma." Lily bent over picking the boy up, she glanced at Trevor for a minute before grabbing something to drink and disappearing back into the bedroom taking Lawrence with her.
When she laid back down in the bed Lawrence curled up beside her resting his head on her arm, Lily gently brushed some of his dirty blonde hair from his face, she sighed hearing Debra and Trevor enter the room. "I'm not talking about this anymore. There's nothing left to talk about, I get the point, you didn't need to bring Debra, to tell me the same thing you already told me."
