Satogi moved on to find more enemies and quickly came into contact with the Kobold. He was surprised by the little thing's speed but it's inefficient weapon only dinged off of his armor. He almost felt pity for the creature if it was not in the tower. As such, he took up his blade and made to run the Kobold through. He unleashed his Bright Flash and again illuminated a large portion of the First Floor but the Kobold was not evil enough to make these flashes anywhere as bright as the first. If the first strike wasn't enough for the little creature he would continue on his attack with ferocious abandon until it was in at least two pieces.
Recovering his breath from the last fight, Satogi kept on his search for loot and evil to slaughter. The more dark the creature, the more inclined Satogi was to kill it and the brighter his sword's light shined through the halls. He kept searching the halls and rooms he came across, cautious of traps but never fearful of what lies in the darkness. He had heard tales of adventurers finding their lost comrades weeks if not months later, insane and mad from their trials. He hoped he would not meet the same fate as he fought for his right to reach the top floors.
