"All this for a date?" Trish asked incredulously, shaking her head slightly. "Is this some kind of trick or something?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, arms crossed over her chest as she studied him closely, trying to figure the man out. If all he wanted was a date, why was her father so paranoid of him, warning her away from him. "Are you some kind of convict or something?" She asked, still trying to figure the whole situation out.
Trish never liked her father butting into her personal life, but most of the time he his judgement was pretty dead on. If he didn't want her around this guy, there had to be a reason. If she did go on a date with this man, and her father found out, he wouldn't be happy about it. She was trying to decide if this guy was worth facing her father's wrath later. "Say I agree, what would this 'date' entail?" She asked, still sizing the man up uncertainly.
