Hitoshi felt calmer once they were out of the Cafe and away from the staring eyes of all those strangers. Letting out a sigh, he took a seat next to Mikaze, breathing in the familiar scents of pollen and grass. Definitely much calmer here than the Cafe.

Listening to his friend speak, Hitoshi started to notice that he, for some reason, didn't like how many times Mikaze had mentioned his ex-boyfriend during the conversation, though he wouldn't say it out loud. He didn't even know why he didn't like the fact, so he decided to keep it to himself until further notice.

"I guess it would be pretty normal, but its still new for me. At least you have some experience with dating, I hardly even have the guts to admit my feelings..."

Hitoshi focused his gaze on the ground in front of him and wondered if Mikaze would understand the subtle message. Hitoshi was a horrible liar, but he also had trouble being upfront, which wasn't much help in this situation.

So if I say I'm in love with him...does that mean I'm mistaking close friendship for love, or am I mistaking love for close friendship...? Maybe both? Or neither...

Hitoshi quickly became absorbed in his thoughts, trying to decide what everything meant while also not wanting to ask Mikaze about it, since it would mean admitting something. Not that it really mattered, he'd pretty much asked the guy out already.

"So if we're dating...does that mean we're gonna hold hands wherever we go and stuff? I mean, holding your hand everywhere means I won't get lost, so..."
