Mikaze chuckled at the statement of his best friend as they both stood up from the bench where they sat. Well, certainly a lot of things have happened but it's not like that anything is going to stop them from having fun with the time they had here, isn't it? So all they could possibly do now is just to enjoy this moment and let things be the ways they supposed to be. It's for the best. Mikaze thought.
"Well, let's go then. I'll make some nikumiso and okonomiyaki. I'll also get some chicken filet to make yakitori tonight. We can get some takoyaki on the way there too, and I think korokke is also good too..." Mikaze began to list out all sorts of dishes as they strolled their way along the streets. There are hundreds of things he wanted to do and cooking all sort of food he's been dying to make but couldn't back at home was one of them, so of course, he's rather thrilled. And part of it was because he was kind of... happy whenever he saw Hitoshi eating his food contently?
As they was about to reached the market, Hitoshi then saw a poster on a telephone pole which promoted a festival that was going to be held. "Of course, it sounds fun. No wonder I saw some trucks carrying festival's goods earlier." It's not very often that Mikaze got to go to a festival, but he knows that they're going to be fun. Hitoshi then went on listing out what activities they could do at the festival, in which Mikaze nodded in agreement.
"I see. But we gotta find some yukatas first if we're going to the festival, eh? It's been a while since I last saw you wearing one, actually." Mikaze chuckled as both of them entered the market.
There were a lot of stores and stalls that sell all sorts of souvenirs, food, ingredients, etc around here and it was pretty crowded with people travel forth and backward. It's quite interesting, really. You can't find a scene like this in a supermarket in a city and there are hardly any traditional markets around the suburban area so this definitely is something refreshing, for both of them.
After a while of picking things and bargaining, both of the boys headed back to the house, packed with plastic bags with all sort of vegetable, meats, spices, etc. They both also got themselves some takiyoki as they made their ways home. While munching the octopus balls, Mikaze couldn't help but secretly glad that he could spend moments like this with his best buddy. No matter how they'd turn out from now on, at least they can enjoy these moments for now, right?
