Thomas snapped out of his reminiscence to observe the rest of the class. He dove his hands into the pockets of his fake fur lined coat. There was a female with an aura that seemed to draw on him like the scent of catnip. He twitched his nose at the sight of her delicate china doll like features and her vibrant red hair. A delicate coppery iron scent came from her. Whatever she was required a significant amount of blood he assumed. Not too far from her was a guy with an obnoxiously confident look on his face. He didn't have any horns on him or anything but Tom had a feeling that he wasn't one to be fucked with either. He averted his gaze. The other girl there with them seemed to have a hostile air around her, she reminded him of those people forced into the same room as cats who would almost seem to fold into themselves whilst attempting, uselessly to shoo the cat away. He smirked at the thought. Cats had a different standard for who is acceptable and who isn't. Not being incredibly social cats will cling to the one who is least clingy, or the one who wants them around the least. He smiled warmly towards Shame and waved, the tip of his tail twitching this way and that.
Gem meanwhile took a closer look at the student he was with, bewildered by his response. He let his hand drop feeling as if he'd stumbled into a new country and done his greeting terribly wrong. He couldn't help but think that this person operated on a completely different wavelength than he did. He thought about this momentarily and took in the student before him he adjusted his glasses needlessly. White hair, a distinct ozone scent like the scent before a storm, a winter storm specifically. Gem assumed it was due to some sort of snow related power. His shape was utterly human like himself yet he gave off. Ah...that's it. I completely overlooked it.
"I apologize, having lived with humans all my life I've yet to identify and understand other supernatural beings. You're a kitsune aren't you? I've read all about your kind but I've had yet to meet one in person." He explained, bowing in apology. "I'm a ghoul. Not particularly strong by your standards, probably but incredibly durable and very hard to kill. Thank you for finding it worth your while to speak to me."
It pained him to stoop like this. Inwardly he gritted his teeth, a more bloody ruthless nature writhing in thoughtless annoyance. It wasn't as if he could eat him so it bewildered him a bit to feel such a reaction. That side rarely stirred when he wasn't hungry. He may not taste good but imagine what his insides would look splayed across the floor!
"Well, I must get on, Student council and all....ah....where are you headed?" He asked, ignoring the thoughts seeping from the dark corner of his mind. On the outside he maintained his innocent weak looking nature, a delicate smile on his lips.
