Chris watched as the doctor spoke to him again, showing him a strange box, with buttons on it. She spoke again getting up from where she was sitting heading for the door, where was she going? Why was she going? Even though Chris had no human interaction and even though he was more so scared of everything he would have preferred that she stayed with him.
He watched her leave, looking at the back of her as the left. He tapped his hands together rocking back and forth, he looked as the table and hummed softly at the shiny things on the table. He reached forward nervously and gently pushed them off the table, jumping at the metallic ringing as they bounced on the floor. Looking down off the bed he was satisfied enough that the shiny things couldn't hurt him, from down there.
He turned his attention to the remote picking it up he sniffed it quickly, licking it a few times, it didn't taste of anything. He pushed a few buttons and jumped when a voice came from the room. He cried out softly covering his ears, eyes darting around to find the source of the noise. There it was a picture box, there was people in the box. He was sure it wasn't a person because it was red and fluffy, he stroked the blanket wondering what it felt like. The red thing kept saying Elmo. That must have been a name...what was his name? He tapped his head a few times thinking about what he was called. Useless, pathetic, freak, dog. Chris...that was it Chris! He watched the fuzžy red Elmo for a while entranced by the colours and sounds.
Rubbing his eyes Chris fell asleep for a while but that was short lived as a nightmare flew into his mind. He was being hit with a belt, really hard enough to cut his body and brusie his skin. Sitting up he screamed covering his eyes shivering nervously, knocking the button on the side of his bed, he bit down on his hand moaning as it hurt to do so.
