Elyzabeth pressed her left foot against the barrier experimentally. Nothing leaped out at her. "...huh." She backed away from it, and looked back down the hall at Satogi's unconscious body. She thought about trying to throw him through it. "Too heavy," she muttered to herself. She took another step back, then rummaged through her pouches until she found the runed obsidian she had found in the chest. She hucked it; the barrier shattered like glass where it was struck, with the little stone flying up onto the next floor, before it reformed behind it. "Elsir, what nonsense is this?" She crossed her arms and considered charging it, but she didn't know what would happen if it reformed before she passed all the way past the threshold. "I'll make the human do it," she decided. If he proved helpful, she'd consider returning his stolen possessions (still hidden by the latches on her belt). She turned away and carefully approached the fallen paladin. "Hey! Wake up!" She shoved him dispassionately with her heel, carefully training the point of one of her swords at his head in case he decided to attack again. "Get off your ass." She was content to wait; no way in all the hells was she going to take any risks with magic.
