Mikaze chuckled at his best friend's statement that he looks like a girl in a yukata. "Well, surely you aren't that girly as they said. I guess you could leave your hat on when we go to that festival. Or actually you can consider tying your hair up sometimes. Or getting a hairclap like mine. There's actually quite a few ways to keep that hair of yours from standing out too much, you know."
They stopped by a couple of more shops and get some souvenirs on the way and went into a bookshop. Mikaze bought the new published Weekly Magazine of this week and a some manga books before heading back to the beach house. Hitoshi then went on commenting about the fact that they didn't sell these back in Tokyo. "Well yeah, it's pretty different from the city, obviously. There isn't a whole lot of places where we can go and have fun, but at least the town isn't nearly as crowded as Tokyo. That's a good thing, right?"
As they set out the food onto the counter, Mikaze began to roll up his sleeve and wash the ingredients in the faucet first. As he was chopping some vegetable, Hitoshi asked what he wanted to do after their graduation and said that his family wanted him to go to a rather fancy boarding school for college, Mikaze shrugged, "My mom didn't really emphasize it and said that I could follow whatever paths I want to. I didn't really have a clue right now though. But I'll probably enroll Tokyo University of Arts or something. My passion with music is still the greatest, heh."
After a while preparing with the beef and vegetable, Mikaze made some nikumiso. When about 15 minutes had passed, he set out the dishes onto the table. "I'm done. Let's dig in." He said with a smile as he sat down. "Well, I think that your father and your brothers couldn't force you to do anything all the time, right? At least til now there isn't a time you actually ever listening to their words in the record."
