The mage sat up and more or less looked at the floor as he man explained it his way. Koko couldn't really get a grip on what was being said as he was still rather on edge. He stood and sighed in the direction of the spikes, seeing how they overlapped but nothing else crossed his mind. He didnt have any more time to think on it as a pack of wolves came out of nowhere. Koko rose away from the ground onto his toes to avoid the jaws of one wolf on his heels, and Koko flashed it away with a quick force bubble to bounce it in the opposite direction. He skirted back behind Lance and let him deal with the wolves.

He turned around to see the spikes at their back, and Koko got an idea. He drew four explosion sigils on the cross-points between the spikes and lit them all at once. The explosions were "aimed" through the spikes instead of at them, so it would only blast out the obstruction. Koko cheered for his success and ran through the opening. "Come on, Lance!" Koko didn't dare go further into the dark tunnels without his backup, and the fact that his light sigil was currently following him to illuminate the fight.
