Desmond sat in the backseat of the car, uncharacteristically quiet, simply watching the scenery as it flew past the car. Though if one looked closely there was a small but malevolent smile plastered over his face. This was going to be fun, dangerous, but fun. Staying at a camp filled with wannabe heroes for a whole summer probably wasn't the best idea for someone who aspired to terrorize the world with his special talents. Of course that's what was going to make it so much fun, the hint of danger around every corner. Still it presented an annoyance. Desmond was fully aware that by simply being there he would have to restrict his fun. This summer was not the time for blatant cruelty. The very notion of playing nice all summer forced a frown over his face. He'd have to find someway of having fun surrounded by all those no good heroes.
"Are you alright sir?" Muttered his usual driver, and long time butler Samuel. Desmond looked back almost immediately with the trademark grin so many of his family's employees have learned to fear, though Samuel here wasn't nearly as rattled by it as most are."Never been better Sammy! Can't wait to get there! This is going to be so exciting, new sites to see, new experiences to be had, friends to make, people to scare, and things to learn!" Samuel merely muttered in agreement with only the slightest hint of unease in his voice. Satisfied Desmond went back to thinking about the summer to come.
When they finally arrived Desmond wasted no time, quickly getting out of the car, eager to take his first look at the camp ground. Already it was starting to get busy with excited campers making finally arriving and parents leaving their children to whatever the summer will bring to them. Samuel exited the car not long after and began to fetch Desmond's bags. There was quite a bit more than the old butler expected so he gave his charge a quizzical look."My word sir. Do you really need all of this? How do you even plan on carrying it all?" Desmond could only sigh at the stupid question, as he created his copies. They emerged from his body in a rather theatrical, and dramatic fashion. Within moments where there was once only one Desmond now stood four. "Of course I need all this Sammy! I had to bring at least a few of my instruments along didn't I?" Desmond hated the idea of not being around at least some form of instrument mostly because that meant not being able to show off his talents at a moments notice. As he spoke his clones gathered all of his things, each one carrying a large bag, and at least one of his instruments. Desmond himself was carrying only a small backpack filled with clothes and other essentials.
Desmond waved a quick goodbye at Samuel who was quickly moving to leave now that Desmond was finally here. When Samuel had left Desmond examined the scene. It seemed that the campers were all allowed to pick their own cabins. Instead of choosing a cabin however Desmond decided to walk around exploring the camp ground a bit more. As he walked he kept an eye on many of the others trying to see who would be the strongest and the weakest. As he walked observing the campsite and it's campers his clones followed closely behind him.
