Schemeko

Integra listened as he took glances towards Schemeko whose sour faced turned into a disrespectful smirk every time he looked. Still he was used to Schemeko's childish antics, it's been that way ever since they were pups. As often as Schemeko made mistakes, Integra didn't. Morel was always an upstanding and strong leader of an often mischievous pack. While Hemlocks are used to playing out the stereotypes the other packs give them, many do not see the truth to the Hemlock. In fact, there are many pillars of the Hemlock pack that are honorable and stalwart despite popular opinion. True, this attested to the fact that these pillars are much older wolves, but good-natured fun has always been encouraged and accepted. Yet the Hemlocks do have limits and Schemeko is one of those Hemlocks that like to cross that limit.

Still, even Integra does understand that his brother is a result of a wartime world. Many Hemlocks have been crossing that line between mischief and malice. Many Hemlocks have left the Swamp in order to take advantage of a world at war, many becoming mercenaries and assassins. While there are some like Schemeko and his, faction, as Shamus called it, where they feed off the chaos and use it to cause even more for their entertainment. These rogues have stained the name of the Hemlock who anymore are seen more as vile and deceptive. Gone are the days of playful tricksters as some elders have said. Integra looked back to Schemeko and then to Shamus. "I see." He spoke.

Integra turned to Schemeko. "So have we resigned ourselves to harassing travelers now?" Integra spoke accusingly. "Well, perhaps if they weren't coning my associates of their venom then...I may of had let him pass on his merry way." Schemeko spoke with a smile. "Oh, yeah, that wolf tricked us!" Vander shouted. "Yeah, he lied and stole, lied and stole!" Wylie spatted. "Yes, he lured them with the false promises of receiving luck as if it was a commodity to be traded." Schemeko spoke as he picked up the pendant on the ground before him. "Yes, he deceived them with this trinket. As far as I can gather it was personified as luck and would work for the poor sap who was in need of a little fortune." Schemeko cooed as he handed it to his brother. Integra looked at it and then sniffed it. While it smelt like Hemlock he did smell Shamus's faint scent upon it. He then looked over to Shamus, while he would trust a stranger over his own brother, the two buffoons did describe this exact pendant as being cursed. The writings on it definitely didn't remind him of any Hemlock writings. He then walked over to Shamus.

"While I do believe you, especially when you said my brother ransomed your freedom for their venom, I do have to ask, what is the meaning of this?" Integra spoke when he handed him the wooden trinket.
