To be honest, Mikaze couldn't help but find his best friend to be a little funny today, as it was long since the last time he saw him wearing traditional clothes again. But, yeah, he was also grateful that despite Hitoshi's initial loathing, he still decided to wear it. Stepping by the door, both of them wear the wooden sandals that were prepared for them by the Association before making their way to the town's square, where the festival was taking place.
As Hitoshi hopped towards Mikaze, which almost resulted in him falling down again, he said jokingly that he would blame Mikaze should he fell down wearing the sandals, in which Mikaze replied in the same mischievous manner, "Well, you should blame yourself first for not being careful in the first place."
Both of them then strolled along the street to the to the town square, the wooden sandals tapped against the ground sound clanky. People crowding the streets are also headed to the same direction as them. It was an event once in a while, so of course, the crowd was really intimidating, to say the least. Both of them have to stick together all the time if they didn't want to lose track of each other.
After 10 minutes of walking or so, they finally reached the festival. At first sight, Mikaze was quite awestruck by the scenery in front of his eyes. Lanterns were hung everywhere, lightened up the whole square. Booths selling foods, souvenirs and organizing games are all across the place. Excitement soon took over Mikaze as he unconsciously took Hitoshi hand and blended themselves into the seemingly endless crowd in the festival.
It was fun.
Both of them stopped by almost every booth on their way, eating all kinds of foods, buying some interesting souvenirs and playing games around. For hours, Mikaze has almost forgotten about time. He felt as if there isn't a care in the world and all he knew was that he really enjoy the moment, along with his best friend.
Somehow... he felt that he'd found his answer to his inner feelings.
