Doll's eyes dulled a little, losing their shine with the addition of the pain medicine. She coughed, a distinct coppery taste filling her mouth. The others were making plans, saying something about America. Was that where they had been the floor? Before they had gone on the giant metal bird? If Doll's memory served right that was called a plane. "What happened to Maddox?" Doll suddenly remembered to ask. The red haired lady looked suspiciously like Grell, but Doll doubted they were the same person. Her thoughts were incoherent and made little to no sense. Of course Grell couldn't be Madame Maddox, although they had a distinct similarity to one another.
Zero told her to rest, but Doll had enough of sleeping. She felt awfully tired, which was funny considering she had just slept for two weeks. "Thank you," Doll managed to whisper, remembering what she had wanted to say before the lull of sleep tugged her deep into the depths of rest. Her eyelids fluttered, turquoise orbs disappearing once more. Her lips had a tiny smile dancing on them that slipped away quietly. There were no dreams of disembodiment or nightmares of Madame Maddox, this time it was peaceful, dreamless bliss.
