Ariana Hasani
Ariana showed no outward sign of fear at Amaya (or Rin as she seemed to prefer to be called) as she lunged forward and managed to lay Tatsuo flat on the ground. Nor did she show signs of frustration as Tatsuo retaliated. They were evenly matched, it seemed, in both power and in temperament. 'This is either a very good thing, or a very bad thing.' Ariana thought once their squabble had seemed to pass, 'Possibly it is both.'
However, their quarrel was not due to hatred (like Tatsuo and Dyandin's had been the day prior), but instead due to annoyance and restlessness so Aria was not as concerned with having an episode. Then again, she would be lying if she said she'd not been affected - fortunately her medicine ought to solve that problem. 'Speaking of,' Aria thought, discreetly pulling a small bottle from her bag and pulled the cap off, 'I nearly forgot to take these.' She dumped two small white tablets from the label-less white bottle and replaced the cap, putting it back in her bag before swallowing the two pills and coughing once at the taste.
Then, once that was done, Aria began walking as well.
A matter of hours later...
It had taken awhile for them to arrive at the village due to some bickering along the way, but eventually they had made it to the man who had had his steakhouse stolen from and he gave them directions to the mountains in which the goblins had run off in. After following their tracks for another hour, the group had finally come to a clearing in the forest that exposed the entrance to what seemed to be a small cave. It was there in the clearing that the tracks seemed to had condensed, and upon entering the clearing from the brush jumped out a group of the small creatures.
Aria blinked upon their arrival as she looked upon the crowd of tiny pink critters. They were hardly what she imagined goblins to be with their little sharpened stick spears and leaf armor. "Guys," Aria said blankly, trailing off "You all look around the area for Dyandin and let me take care of these little guys." Kneeling down on the ground as the goblins gathered around, Aria continued her point by saying, "He ought to be somewhere nearby. Perhaps he got lost or something. Check in the cave and surrounding area whilst I handle these little goblins."
Placing her hands on the ground, Aria murmured to herself "Emotion magic, unrelenting Fear." and across the group spread a shadow tinted green that connected with every shadow of the goblins, and they began to quiver. They then began to shriek and cry, dropping their stick spears before running away in sheer terror. After a few short minutes of this, once all of the little critters had fled the areas (including the ones that had fallen over in panic), Aria stood up again and dusted off her knees as if nothing had happened.
"They shouldn't be coming back or bothering any towns ever again." she said simply, totally unconcerned about her demonstration of strange magic and not feeling particularly obliged to explain it to her companions. "Has anyone found a trace of Dyandin yet?" she asked, directing the question at her companions who had (hopefully) been checking the surrounding area whilst she worked her emotion magic. As her eyes moved over them, she began to think to herself 'How odd that such a simple task demand a team of five wizards. Truly I could have handled this one alone, perhaps with a single companion solely because it was out of the city, but four additional wizards?' she looked around that the group, mildly confused. 'Why, Master Jia? This doesn't make any sense. What do you know about this mission that we do not?'
