Alyssa was walking up to the Walton house with three travel cups of coffee in hand, her phone in the other. She mentally reminded herself to thank who ever had invented cup carriers with all her heart when she found out who it was, and shouldered the ever unlocked back door open to slip in.
She took one last look at her house down the street and sighed. Her dad was awake by now and working his way through the liquor cabinet again but she pulled herself away from that and put a smile on her face as she shouldered in.
Ariel had been out late, how late she would never know because she left to go home early. All she did know was that Mrs. Walton wouldn't be in a good mood. She just didn't realise how bad of a mood she would of been, as she just watched her walk back down the corridor after slamming the door.
"Morning Mrs Walton," She took a cup out of the carrier and gave her a sidewards smile "Just the way you like it." She didn't wait for a response and glanced at her phone as it dinged, knowing it was more than likely Ariel she laughed as she pushed open Ariels door and chucked her phone on the bed.
"Morning Princess, I bought coffee and I would have got doughnuts or something but they are all out." She tensed up slightly and then plopped on the bed, "Don't hate me, I know you want to sleep..." She took a swig out of the cup not letting Ariel have any room to argue or not she continued, "But you need to shower and get clean because a) You have a date to keep with me and" She gave a fake drum roll and pulled out some credit cards, "b) Father is too wasted to know the cards are gone and I have no clothes for tonight." She shrugged, "Well I do, but I think yoga pants are out at the moment. I'm in a down point of my life and as my friend it is your duty to make sure I don't turn up in something that would embarrass us both." She scrunched up her nose a little, "Is that the beer sweats I smell, go go go!"
