The man tilted his head to one side, his face like stone. "That sorceress has never appreciated her capabilities. It's her disgusting sense of honor and her altruistic approach to dealing with enemies that makes her useless and unworthy of my attention. We waited, yes. We needed something more volatile and dangerous...more...entertaining, if you will."
Caitrin wasn't much of a fighter, either, but that didn't stop her from grabbing Cassier's hand and sprinting for the woods.
