Adira Hasidare
"Khojin," said the humanoid, awkwardly messing with the hole in her cheek which exposed her sharpened teeth. "I didn't mean lizard." Adira managed an (slightly less forced) smile. "It's alright. Fanghur are not usually very sociable creatures and tend to live high in the mountains. It's not unusual for people to mistake them for some kind of giant lizard or dragon." "I saw a dragon once. He... spoke, 'n'... everythin'... uh..." Khojin seemed to be trying to fill the silence, fumbling to form full sentences. "I have a companion, too, sort of. His name's Capricorn, he's a... heh. Look at us, both with companions, both trapped in a desert arena, we're practically twinsies, heheheh..." She was more nervous that Adira, which made Adira feel more confident in herself.
"So uh, I see you have a bag," she pointed at the sack that Adira had set on the ground which she reequip all her gear, then at the one she was holding and shook it, "I also have a bag. What strange and magical happenstance. We're practically friends already, right?"
Adira was less certain about this statement. She'd only just met Khojin and knew next-to-nothing about her, yet she'd referred to them as friends. Her appearance (and the way Adira could see her tongue moving through her cheek) were unsettling, but Fell pushed past Adira's arm and began to sniff the girl thoroughly before finally placing his snout in the palm of her hand and crooning softly. Upon seeing this Adira visibly relaxed. Khojin's charisma was rather lacking and Adira was still quite wary, but she trusted Fell's judgement and if he indicated that this girl was not an enemy then she was not an enemy. And in that case, she'd have to be made an ally for allies may prove invaluable depending on what happened next. "Yes, if nothing else I suppose that would make us friends. Or allies at least."
Looking around the arena, Adira could see most everyone else was awake now and she looked back at Khojin. "Do know where we are? Or how we came to be here?" She asked, a seriousness in her voice. It was clear she was as confused and concerned as everyone else, even though she was trying to hold a brave face.
