Xin just couldn't help but unleash one hell of a shit eating grin as he watched Khojin look around confused. Maybe not as climactic as he had hoped, but...
Suddenly she was rolling around on the ground, dying of laughter. The only way the soldier knew how to respond was to put his helmet on before he started to let off some chuckling of his own. Thankfully the helmet was smart enough to not let that out. Instead, it seemed as if he was silently watching the demon girl roll about wildly half the time. The other half was her repeated failures at attempting to regain some level of composure. Xin found it quite amusing.
"Try as you might, I still got something amusing out of it." Xin said, a little bit of overconfidence seeping into his voice. He couldn't explain why, but something about the demon girl's mix of 'I'm a badass' and 'little girl' was interesting to him. Definitely more fun than either of those two separately.
It was only part way through this that Xin noticed that the over-exposed teenager decided to introduce herself. And her Fang-her. Right, almost forgot bout the lizards. "Is that like some kind of lizard-dog?" Asked Xin through his helmet.
