When Grell came in, he sat back down at the chair by her side, the chair that Zero had previously occupied. Where had Zero gone? Ren had said that he was asleep, he must have been up all night worrying. Doll felt bad, she wanted to apologize for making him worry so much.
"I don't like this Ren character," Grell said quietly. "He rubs me the wrong way," Doll suddenly had the feeling that Zero's nap wasn't voluntary. "Is Doctor Atarashi going to check on Zero?" Doll asked, wringing the blanket nervously in her hands. Grell nodded his head, "he should be with him right now." Grell replied and smiled, "don't worry, if Ren did anything, the Doc will know just what to do." Doll hoped that Ren didn't do anything, that he wasn't that kind of person. No, he wouldn't do anything to hurt his brother, Doll didn't want to believe it. Ren seemed to love Zero and Zero loved Ren. Brothers wouldn't hurt each other and she felt reassured by this.
